Our project aims to prevent the institutionalisation of children by providing them with socialisation activities – games, activities, events, trips etc. – and encourage maximum contact with the world outside the orphanage.
Volunteers on our project and intensely engaged in developing activities to work with the children. Additionally, they help make the territory more child orientated and improve their environment.
Humanitarian aid to Kosava Adult Institute
Kosava Adult Institute is located almost 300km from the capital city of Minsk. Kosava is home to adults with disabilities over the age of 18 and pensioners who have no family to care for them.
WEast Chernobyl works to provide humanitarian aid to the institute and improve the overall living conditions for the residents there. Additionally, we maintain a photo project to encourage continued communication and relationship building between the residents and our volunteers. |
